USP: The Post Barn. A newly constructed light bright barn style building with it’s own kitchens and grounds just a 7 minute walk from the hotel catering up to 80 cabaret
Recently, we were able to visit the newly refurbished Donnington & Co. Along with a comprehensive redecoration of the public areas, restaurant and bar and reception the hotel has had a cool rebrand too! located so well and easy to find just off the M4 the hotel is within the 1 hour out of London offsite catchment area.
The modern and light style of décor and the quality of the new furniture and fittings has given the hotel a really wonderful lift and made the space seem so much more welcoming. The conference space is really well laid out with the main suite just above a whole range of flexible syndicate rooms and coffee lounge. There is a lovely additional room which sits with it’s own patio near the lily pond and would make an excellent confidential meeting space or private dining room. The tipi style bar area complete with pizza oven and bar is really welcoming with it’s fairy lights and blankets overlooking the grounds.
There are lots of different dining options at the hotel for one- or two-night conferences and events and large grounds which lend themselves way to a whole range of teambuilding and activities and of course al-fresco conference dining.
What we loved about Donnington & Co The way the refurbishment has really lifted the whole property. The Post Barn which is an absolutely stunning event space with it’s high pitched ceiling, huge windows flooding the space with light, it’s mezzanine and private kitchen and garden.
Best for: Private dinners and parties in the Post Barn and larger conferences. Anyone who wants to do outdoor activities and be within that one hour catchment of London.
